NEPSE Index Upsurges By Significant 50.44 Points; All Indices Close at Green While Intraday Turnover Stood at 7.03 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining 50.44 points (1.94% ) to settle at 2,650.66. This follows a 39.92 point loss in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2601.2, touching an intraday high of 2,650.66, while the lowest point was 2,601.11. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 7.03 Arba, with 14,204,362 shares traded across 330 companies through 79,714 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.50 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.07 Kharba.

Nepal Life Insurance Co. Ltd. (NLIC) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 24.81 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 860.00.

Four scrips hit the upper circuit, gaining a maximum of 10% each.

Meanwhile, Mabilung Energy Limited (MABEL) recorded the steepest drop, falling 9.05%.

Among sectors,Life Insurance registered the highest gain, gaining 4.94%, while the Trading Index saw the highest loss at 0.76%.
