NEPSE Index Upsurges by 44.25 Points to Settle at 2,547.60 ; All Index Closes at Green

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining 44.25 points (1.76% ) to settle at 2,547.60. This follows a 78.83 -point loss in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2521.01, touching an intraday high of 2,547.81, while the lowest point was 2,478.39. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 4.97 Arba, with 9,904,874 shares traded across 330 companies through 48,836 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 42.58 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 14.47 Kharba.

NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited (NRN) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 31.91 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 1,898.80.

Three scrips hit the upper circuit, gaining a maximum of 10% each

Meanwhile, Corporate Development Bank Limited (CORBL) recorded the steepest drop, falling 5.26%.

Among sectors, the Others Index registered the highest gain, gaining 5.01%, while theBanking SubIndex saw the least gain at 0.28%.
