NEPSE Index Ticks Up By 1.13 Points to Settle at 2,545.73 ; HPPL Leads Turnover While Overall Volume Stood at 3.49 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining 1.13 points (0.04% ) to settle at 2,545.73. This follows a 20.56 point loss in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2538.63, touching an intraday high of 2,559.01, while the lowest point was 2,530.32. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 3.49 Arba, with 7,605,584 shares traded across 329 companies through 50,621 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 42.73 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 14.45 Kharba.

 

Himalayan Power Partner Ltd. (HPPL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 16.80 crores. The stock closed at Rs.499.00.

Four scrips hit the upper circuit, gaining a maximum of 10% each.


Meanwhile, Nepal Micro Insurance Company Limited (NMIC) recorded the steepest drop, falling 4.82%.

 

Among sectors, Trading Index registered the highest gain, gaining 0.79%, while the Manufacturing And Processing saw the highest loss at 0.28%.
