NEPSE Index Surges By Significant 58.63 Points to Close at 2,682.25; All Index Closes at Green While Overall Volume Stood at 5.29 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining 58.63 points (2.23%) to settle at 2,682.25. This follows a 111.70 -point gain in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2631.16 touching an intraday high of 2,682.28, while the lowest point was 2,630.97. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 5.29 Arba, with 11,353,148 shares traded across 328 companies through 67,382 transactions. The market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.84 Kharba, while the float market capitalization was recorded at Rs. 15.22 Kharba.

Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs.38.68 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 1,518.00

Seven Companies led the gainer's list with a 10.00% gain each.

Meanwhile, Prabhu Smart Fund (PRSF) recorded the steepest drop, falling 4.30%.

Among sectors, the Non Life Insurance registered the highest gain, gaining 3.48%, while the Mutual Fund saw the least gain at 0.63%.
