NEPSE Index Surges By 18.37 Points to Settle at 2,619.99; SWASTIK and NABBC HIt Positive Circuit

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, increasing by 18.37 points (0.70%) to settle at 2,619.99. This follows a 6.74 point gain in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2,601.81, touching an intraday high of 2,619.99, while the lowest point was 2,600.86. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 3.29 Arba, with 7,804,045 shares traded across 325 companies through 55,078 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 43.99 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 14.88 Kharba.

Ngadi Group Power Ltd. (NGPL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 19.82 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 398.

Swastik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SWASTIK) and Narayani Development Bank Limited (NABBC) led the gainers' list by 10.00% each.

Meanwhile, Swet-Ganga Hydropower & Construction Limited (SGHC) recorded the steepest drop, falling 4.16%. 

 

Among sectors, the Trading Index registered the highest loss, losing 0.01%, while the Development Index saw the highest gain at 1.56%.
