NEPSE Index Surges 1.13% in Today's Trading Session: Hotel and Tourism Sector Gain Highest

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index has a gain of 20.67 points, or 1.13%, over the previous day's closing to conclude at 1,850.33 points. The previous trading day saw a loss of 23.82 points for the index.
The index opened trading at 1830.11 and had an intraday low of 1,816.40 and an intraday high of 1,850.54.
There were 294 different stocks traded in 43,583 transactions during today's session. 4,213,285 shares were traded, resulting in a total turnover of Rs. 1.08 arba. With a float market capitalization of Rs. 9.95 Kharba, the market capitalization was Rs. 28.52 Kharba.
At a market price of Rs. 283, Sonapur Minerals And Oil Limited (SONA) finished with the highest turnover of Rs. 10.76 crores.
Likewise, today's highest gainer was Buddha Bhumi Nepal Hydropower Company Limited (BNHC), at 10%.
Conversely, today's biggest loss was recorded by Sayapatri Hydropower Limited (SPHL), at 8.15%.
All sector indexes closed in the green, except for "Mutual Fund". Meanwhile, "Hotels And Tourism Index" saw the most gain of 3.49%, while "Mutual Fund" saw a loss of 0.03%.
