NEPSE Index Surged By Phenomenal 76.64 Points With Staggering Turnover of Rs. 3.362 Arba; All Sector Indices Closed Green

The NEPSE index closed at 2,177.34 today after gaining 76.64 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 3.65%. The index gained 4.57 points yesterday.
Today the index opened at 2,100.12 and made an intraday low of 2,099.03. It went as high as 2,177.75 and ultimately closed at 2,177.34.
260 scrips traded hands via 59,927 transactions. A total of 9,333,788 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 3.362 Arba in turnover amount. This is higher than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.474 Arba.
NIC Asia Bank Ltd. (NICA) had the highest turnover of Rs. 12.92 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 835 per share. The shares of Ngadi Group Power Ltd. (NGPL) traded the most.
Five scrips gained all they could and hit the positive circuit.
Conversely, 12% ICFC Finance Limited Debenture 2083 (ICFCD83) lost the highest 5.90% today.
All sector indices closed green, "Investment" gained the highest 6.25% while "Mutual Fund" gained the least 2.24% today.
