NEPSE Index Spikes Up By 42.26 Points To Close at 2,714.81; All Indices Close at Green While Intraday Turnover Stood at 11.85 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining by 42.26 points (1.58%) to settle at 2,714.81. This follows a 31.12 point gain the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2,678.31, touching an intraday high of 2,726.74, while the lowest point was 2,678.81. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 11.85 Arba, with 25,185,647 shares traded across 339 companies through 115,181 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 45.58 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.52 Kharba.


NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited (NRN) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 40.79 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 1,550.00.


Gurkhas Finance Ltd. (GUFL) led the gainer's list with 10% each.


Meanwhile, 10.75% SBL Debenture 2089 (SBLD89) recorded the steepest drop, falling 4.23%.


Among sectors, the Hotels And Tourism Index registered the highest gain, gaining 3.36%, while the Trading Index saw the least gain at 0.37%.
