NEPSE Index Soars by 53.01 Points to Settle at 2,819.10; All Sector Closes at Green While Overall Turnover Stood at 7.68 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining 53.01 points (1.91%) to settle at 2,819.10. This follows a 4.83 -point gain in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2781.38 touching an intraday high of 2,822.79, while the lowest point was 2,767.77. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 7.68 Arba, with 14,986,142 shares traded across 321 companies through 72,528 transactions. The market capitalization stood at Rs. 47.10 Kharba, while the float market capitalization was recorded at Rs. 15.93 Kharba.

Himalayan Reinsurance Limited (HRL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 65.42 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 1,055.00

Bikash Hydropower Company Limited (BHCL) led the gainer's list with a 10.00% gain each.

Meanwhile,10.25% KBL Debenture 2086 (KBLD86) recorded the steepest drop, falling 5.79%.

Among sectors, the Development Bank Index registered the highest gain, gaining 3.40%, while the Mutual Fund saw the least gain at 0.47%.
