NEPSE Index Sheds 18.15 Points to Close at 1,915.14; IPO Rookie Stocks MKHC and AHL Hit Positive Circuit

The NEPSE index closed at 1,915.14 today after losing 18.15 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.94%. The index lost 15.76 points yesterday.

Today the index opened at 1,933.11 and made an intraday high at 1,933.56. In contrast, it went as low as 1,905.96 and ultimately closed at 1,915.14.

259 scrips traded hands via 29,685 transactions. A total of 4,340,270 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.413 Arba in turnover amount. This is higher than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.333 Arba.

NIC Asia Bank Ltd. (NICA) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 21.74 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 686 per share.

Maya Khola Hydropower Company Limited (MKHC) gained the highest 10% followed by Asian Hydropower Limited (AHL) with 9.97%.

Conversely, Unique Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (UNLB) lost the highest 7.46% today.

All sector indices closed red, "Trading" lost the highest 3.05% while "Manufacturing and Processing" lost the least 0.22% today.
