NEPSE Index Sees Modest Decline of 0.29%; Records Market Capitalization of Rs. 30.35 Kharba

In today's trading session, the NEPSE index closed at 2,004.45 after losing 5.89 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.29%. The index lost 19.42 points yesterday.
The trading day started with the index opening at 2,012.21 hitting an intraday low of 1,999.62, but also reaching an intraday high of 2,015.56 before settling at its closing value of 2,004.45.
During today's trading, there were 284 different stocks traded in 78,421 transactions. The volume of shares traded amounted to 6,516,006, with a total turnover of Rs. 1.56 Arba. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 30.35 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 10.69 Kharba.
Sun Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (SNLI) had the highest turnover, reaching Rs. 7.68 crores, and closed at a market price of Rs. 459.
Similarly, three hydropower companies hit the positive circuit for the day.
On the flip side, Shuvam Power Limited (SPL) and Three Star Hydropower Limited (TSHL) hit a negative circuit today.
In terms of sector indices, indices except Hydropower and Mutual Fund Index all other indices closed in the red, with Hydropower gaining the most at 0.92%.
