NEPSE Index Sees 2.56% Uptick, Gains 50.04 to Settle at 2,002.70 Levels; All Sectors Close Green

The NEPSE index closed at 2,002.70 today after gaining huge 50.04 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 2.56%. The index gained 14.41 points this Tuesday.

Today the index opened at 1,955.55 which is also the intraday low. While it went as high as 2,002.99 and ultimately closed at 2,002.70.

262 scrips traded hands via 38,131 transactions. A total of 4,566,043 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.565 Arba in turnover amount. This is higher than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.204 Arba.

SHIVAM CEMENTS LTD (SHIVM) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 7.85 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 455 per share.

Shuvam Power Limited (SPL) gained the highest 9.98% and technically hit positive for the day.

Conversely, Siddhartha Investment Growth Scheme - 2 (SIGS2) lost the highest 5.81% today.

All sector indices closed green, "Hydropower" gained the highest 3.59% while "Manufacturing And Processing" gained the least 1.53% today.
