NEPSE Index Sees 13.96 Point Plunge to Close At 2,620.27 Levels, Overall Volume Reached Rs. 8.73 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today, falling by 13.96 points (0.53%) to settle at 2,620.27. This follows a 14.87-point loss in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2,650.54, touching an intraday high at 2,642.96, while the lowest point was 2,619.64. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 8.73 Arba, with 18,496,138 shares traded across 315 companies through 112,577 transactions. The market capitalization stood at Rs. 43.58 Kharba, while the float market capitalization was recorded at Rs. 14.57 Kharba.

Radhi Bidyut Company Ltd (RADHI) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 59.32 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 716.10.

Om Megashree Pharmaceuticals Limited (OMPL) led the gainers' list, hitting the upper circuit limit.

Meanwhile, Gurans Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (GLBSL) recorded the steepest drop, falling 9.98%.

Among sectors, the Others Index posted the highest increase of 2.46%, whereas the Hydropower Index saw the highest loss of 1.96%.
