NEPSE Index Sees 0.85% Uptick, Manufacturing And Processing Sector Gains Most Among Sub-Indices

The NEPSE index closed at 1,959.12 today after gaining 16.49 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 0.85%. The index gained 51.31 points yesterday.
Today the index opened at 1,943.61 and made the intraday low at 1,928.16. In contrast, it went as high as 1,962.66 and ultimately closed at 1,959.12.
270 scrips traded hands via 34,841 transactions. A total of 4,865,475 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.87 Arba in turnover amount. This is lower than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 2.2 Arba.
Shivam Cements Limited (SHIVM) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 14.6 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 466 per share.
Aatmanirbhar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ANLB) gained the highest 10% and hit the positive circuit for the day.
Conversely, Sanima Equity Fund (SAEF) lost the highest 3.77% today.
Only sector indices closed red, "Manufacturing And Processing" gained the highest 4.69% while "Finance" lost the highest 0.45% today.
