NEPSE Index Retrace 2200 Levels Again; Plunge 7.13 Points Today While Turnover Stood at Rs. 3.69 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 2,170.21 today after losing 7.13 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.33%. The index gained 76.64 points yesterday.
Today the index opened at 2,181.62 and made an intraday high of 2,213.89. It went as low as 2,161.00 and ultimately closed at 2,170.21.
257 scrips traded hands via 55,602 transactions. A total of 10,502,649 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 3.691 Arba in turnover amount. This is higher than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 3.362 Arba.
Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) had the highest turnover of Rs. 11.28 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 852 per share. The shares of API Power Company Ltd. (API) traded the most.
Terhathum Power Company Limited (TPC) gained the highest 3.32% for the day.
Conversely, Adarsha Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ADLB) lost the highest 5.14% today.
Only one sector closed green, "Others" gained 0.50% while "Finance" lost the highest 1.94% today.
