NEPSE Index Records Three Consecutive Days of Decline; Overall Volume Stood at 6.16 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today, losing 10.50 points (0.37%) to settle at 2,785.74. This follows a 26.22 -point loss the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2799.06, touching an intraday high of 2,813.59, while the lowest point was 2,784.49. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 6.16 Arba, with 15,847,873 shares traded across 321 companies through 70,099 transactions. The market capitalization stood at Rs. 46.51 Kharba, while the float market capitalization was recorded at Rs. 15.77 Kharba.


Balephi Hydropower Limited (BHL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs.34.11 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 205.00


Maya Khola Hydropower Company Limited (MKHC) led the gainer's list with a 5.74% gain each.

 

Meanwhile,10.25% KBL Debenture 2086 (KBLD86) recorded the steepest drop, falling 9.48%.

 

Among sectors, the Development Bank Index registered the highest gain, gaining 0.35%, while the Trading Index saw the highest loss at 1.50%.
