NEPSE Index Rebounds By 0.48% After Yesterday's 16.29 Points Slide

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a moderate loss today, falling by 12.96 points (0.48%) to close at 2,685.54. This follows a loss of 16.29 points in the previous trading session.
The benchmark index opened at 2665.82 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,692.23 and a low of 2,653.23 before settling at the close. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 3.75 Arba, with 8,851,216 shares traded across 337 companies through 46,752 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 46.15 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.59 Kharba.
Ridi Power Company Limited (RIDI) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 17.26 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 370.00.
Everest Colour Limited (ECL) led the gainers' list with a 14.99% gain. The stock closed at Rs. 1,309.30.
Meanwhile, Bottlers Nepal (Terai) Limited (BNT) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 5.33%. The last traded price of the company was Rs. 11,000.50.
Among sectors, the Others Index recorded the highest fall, falling by 0.93%, while the Non Life Insurance recorded the least loss, down 0.16%.
