NEPSE Index Plunges by 32.08 Points a Day After a Historic 6% Rise; Intraday Turnover Stood at 21.50 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today, losing by 32.08 points (1.11%) to settle at 2,843.35. In the previous session, as the market underwent a staggering 6% surge which lead to the early closure of the market for the entire day.
The benchmark index opened at 2911.37, touching an intraday high of 2,911.36, while the lowest point was 2,796.13. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 21.50 Arba, with 52,711,353 shares traded across 329 companies through 205,611 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 47.83 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 16.33 Kharba.

Ngadi Group Power Ltd. (NGPL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 1.09 arba. The stock closed at Rs. 471.

Reliance Spinning Mills Limited (RSML) and Salapa Bikas Bank Limited (SABBL) Hit Upper Circuit with 10.00% each.

Meanwhile, Him Star Urja Company Limited (HIMSTAR) recorded the steepest drop, falling 6.36%.

Among sectors, the Mutual Fund registered the highest gain, gaining 1.34%, while the Trading Index saw the highest loss at 2.12%.
