NEPSE Index Plunges by 27.14 Points to Settle at 2761.22; NRIC Tops the Turnover

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today, losing 27.14 points (0.97%) to settle at 2,761.22. This follows a 2.62 -point gain the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2789.85, touching an intraday high of 2,803.25, while the lowest point was 2,761.22. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 7.73 Arba, with 20,513,625 shares traded across 317 companies through 86,669 transactions. The market capitalization stood at Rs. 46.10 Kharba, while the float market capitalization was recorded at Rs. 15.61 Kharba.

Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs.51.67 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 1,575.00

RBB Mutual Fund 1 (RMF1) led the gainer's list with a 7.93% gain.

Meanwhile, Sampada Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SMPDA) recorded the steepest drop, falling 7.06%.

Among sectors, the Trading Index registered the highest loss, losing 1.64%, while the Mutual Fund saw the least loss at 0.10%.
