NEPSE Index Plunged by 0.74% to Close at 2,111.68, RIDI Sees Highest Turnover Among All Scrips

The NEPSE index closed at 2,111.68 today after losing 15.70 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.74%. The index lost 41.01 points yesterday.

Today the index opened at 2,130.29 and made an intraday high of 2,124.83. It went as low as 2,107.77 and ultimately closed at 2,111.68.

259 scrips traded hands via 53,878 transactions. A total of 7,553,235 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 2.824 Arba in turnover amount. This is lower than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 3.302 Arba.

Ridi Power Company Limited (RIDI) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 19.2 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 539 per share.

Adarsha Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ADLB) gained the highest 10% and hit the positive circuit.

On the other side of things, Prime Life Insurance Company Limited (PLIC) lost the highest 5.21% today.

Only one sector closed green, "Hotel and Tourism" gained 0.022% while "Investment" lost the highest 1.31% today.
