NEPSE Index Plunged by 0.72% to Close at 1,892, SHIVM Sees Highest Turnover Among All Scrips

The NEPSE index closed at 1,892 today after losing 13.68 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.72%. The index gained 17.36 points yesterday.

Today the index opened at 1,907.54 and made an intraday high of 1,913.28. In contrast, it went as low as 1,888.89 and ultimately closed at 1,892.

264 scrips traded hands via 23,429 transactions. A total of 2,571,202 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 84.7 Crores in turnover amount. This is lower than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 88.55 Crores.

SHIVAM CEMENTS LTD (SHIVM) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 7.01 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 415.2 per share.

Janautthan Samudayic Laghubitta Bittya Sanstha Limited (JSLBB) gained the highest 3.25% for the day.

Conversely, Sunrise Bluechip Fund (SBCF) lost the highest 9.12% today.

All sector indices closed red, "Investment" lost the highest 1.33% while "Mutual Fund" lost the least 0.28% today.
