NEPSE index loses minimal 3.54 points and closes at 2,165.49; Top 7 gainers hit 10% Positive Circuit (Technically)

The NEPSE index lost a minimal 3.54 points today and closed at 2,165.49.
The NEPSE index opened at 2,167.82 and managed to make an intraday high at 2,182.39. The index then lost gradually throughout the day, faring as low as 2,149.74. Nonetheless, the day finally concluded with the index at 2,165.49.
10,809,625 shares traded hands via 42,514 transactions. The trading of 206 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 4.56 Arba. While the float index lost 0.2 points and closed at 147.07, the Sensitive index is at 413.68 after losing 1.47 points.

Shikhar Insurance Company Limited (SICL) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 69.06 crores. The units of the Sanima Equity Fund (SAEF) traded the most.

The top 7 highest gainers technically hit a 10% positive circuit today.

Meanwhile, Salt Trading Corporation Limited (STC) lost the most 6.16%.

Three sectors gained and all others closed red. While Trading lost the most 5.82%, Hydropower gained the most 3.12%.
