NEPSE Index Loses Minimal 0.18% and Closes at 2,023.54 While Turnover Declined to Rs 1.893 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 2,023.54 today after losing 3.65 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.18%. The index gained 4.55 points yesterday.

Today the index opened at 2,029.23 and made the intraday high at 2,043.99. While it went as low as 1,990.27 and ultimately closed at 2,023.54.

259 scrips traded hands via 37,338 transactions. A total of 5,120,888 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.893 Arba in turnover amount. This is lower than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 2.525 Arba.

Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 6.68 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 2,290 per share. The shares of AHPC traded the most.

Swabhimaan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SMFBS) gained the highest 9.73% for the day.

Conversely, Rapti Hydro And General Construction Limited (RHGCL) lost the highest 6.43% today.

Five sector indices closed green, "Finance" lost the highest 1.65% each while "Hotel and Tourism" gained the highest 1.38% today.
