NEPSE Index Loses For Third Consecutive Day to Close at 2,660.02 Points

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a double digit fall today, falling by 14.45 points (0.54%) to settle at 2,660.02. This comes after a fall of 26.16 points in the yesterday trading session.

 

The benchmark index opened at 2668.57 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,678.29 and a low of 2,633.93 before settling at the close. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 4.41 Arba, with 10,777,582 shares traded across 338 companies through 72,917 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 45.52 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.32 Kharba.


Ankhu Khola Jalvidhyut Company Ltd (AKJCL) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 29.62 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 371.50.


Taksar Pikhuwa Khola Hydropower Limited (TPKHL) and Yambaling Hydropower Limited (YMHL) Led the gainer's list with 15.00% positive circuits. The both stock Closed at Rs. 456.20.


Meanwhile, Sopan Pharmaceuticals Limited (SOPL) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 5.05%, the last traded price of the company was Rs.988.40.

 

Among sectors, Trading Index registered the highest gain by 0.81%, while Manufacturing And Processing recorded highest fall, falling by 1.10%.
