NEPSE Index Loses Double Digits to Close at 2,105.46; Intraday Turnover Stood at Rs 1.787 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 2,105.46 today after losing 16.40 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.77%. The index lost 60.88 points on Sunday.
Today the index opened at 2,122.41 and made an intraday high of 2,122.56. It went as low as 2,100.57 and ultimately closed at 2,105.46.
255 scrips traded hands via 36,880 transactions. A total of 4,685,809 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.787 Arba in turnover amount. This is lower than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 2.062 Arba.
Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 7.75 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 2,574 per share. The shares of NGPL traded the most.
Unilever Nepal Limited (UNL) gained the highest 6.12% for the day.
Conversely, Barahi Hydropower Public Limited (BHPL) lost the highest 5.07% today.
Only one sector closed green, "Microfinance" and "Investment" lost the highest 1.02% each while "Manufacturing and Processing" gained 0.31% today.
