NEPSE Index Loses Double Digits on First Trading Day of the Week to Close at 1,838.48; All Sectors Close Red

The NEPSE index closed at 1,838.48 today after losing 28.31 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 1.52%. The index lost 8.28 points last Thursday.

Today the index opened at 1,867.47 and went intraday high of 1,869.43. In contrast, it went as low as 1,833.68 and ultimately closed at 1,838.48.

268 scrips traded hands via 29,239 transactions. A total of 3,843,713 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.159 Arba in turnover amount. This is higher than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 92.06 Crores.

Nabil Bank Limited (NABIL) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 5.78 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 580 per share.

Kalinchowk Darshan Limited (KDL) gained the highest 9.97% and technically hit the positive circuit for the day.

Conversely, 10.25% Machhapuchhre Bank Debenture 2085 (MBLD2085) lost the highest 7.75% today.

All sector indices closed red, "Hydropower" lost the highest 2.35% while "Mutual Fund" lost the least 0.73% today.
