NEPSE Index Loses 5.83 Points in Today's Trading Session: SONA Lost Most On 4th Consecutive Day

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index closed at 1,858.56 points, as the index experienced a minor loss of 5.83 points, or 0.31% compared to the previous day's closing. The index witnessed a loss of 14.29 points on the last trading day.
The trading started with the index opening at 1864.19 hitting an intraday low of 1,853.49, whereas the intraday high was 1,872.19.
During today's trading, there were 296 different stocks traded in 77,870 transactions. The volume of shares traded amounted to 3,364,056 units with a total turnover of Rs. 81.20 Crore. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 28.62 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 10.03 Kharba.
Sonapur Minerals And Oil Limited (SONA) had the highest turnover, reaching Rs. 14.60 crores, and closed at a market price of Rs. 234.80.
Similarly, Sayapatri Hydropower Limited (SPHL) showed the highest gain of 9.39% today.
On the flip side, Sonapur Minerals And Oil Limited (SONA) lost the highest 7.99% today.
In terms of sector indices, indices except "Investment Index" all other indices closed red. "Investment Index" gained the highest 0.08% while "Hotels And Tourism Index" recorded the most significant loss of 1.01% for the day.
