NEPSE Index Loses 21.48 Points to Settle at 2,609.69; SAGAR Leads Turnover While All Sector Close at Red

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today, losing 21.48 points (0.81% ) to settle at 2,609.69. This follows a 0.53 point loss in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2629.69, touching an intraday high of 2,636.97, while the lowest point was 2,602.95. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 5.33 Arba, with 10,718,615 shares traded across 325 companies through 89,731 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 43.81 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 14.81 Kharba.

Sagar Distillery Limited (SAGAR) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 43.69 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 1,817.10.

Three Companies led the gainer's list by 10.00% each.

Meanwhile, Bungal Hydro Limited (BUNGAL) recorded the steepest drop, falling 8.51%.

Among sectors, HydroPower Index registered the highest loss, losing 1.22%, while the Others Index saw the least loss at 0.12%.
