NEPSE Index Gains Subtly by 5.17 Points to Settle at 2,978.88; HRL Tops the Turnover Chart

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today,gaining 5.17 points (0.17%) to settle at 2,978.88. This follows a 80.97-point gain in the previous session.
The benchmark index opened at 2976.27, touching an intraday high of 2,992.26, while the lowest point was 2,947.86. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 19.57 Arba, with 44,866,159 shares traded across 319 companies through 170,318 transactions. The market capitalization stood at Rs. 49.70 Kharba, while the float market capitalization was recorded at Rs. 16.92 Kharba.
Himalayan Reinsurance Limited (HRL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 78.1 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 1,076.00.
Trade Tower Limited (TTL) and Sanvi Energy Limited (SANVI) led the gainer's list with a 9.99% gain each.
Meanwhile, Bhugol Energy Development Company Limited (BEDC) recorded the steepest drop, falling 5.32%.
Among sectors, the Finance Index registered the highest gain, gaining 3.23%, while the Hotels And Tourism Index saw the highest loss at 1.10%.
