NEPSE Index Gains Minimal 0.61% and Closes at 1,866.52 ; Intraday Turnover Stood at Rs. 69.17 Crores

The NEPSE index closed at 1,866.52 today after gaining 11.36 points from last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 0.61%. The index had lost 16.06 points yesterday.

The index opened at 1,854.57 and made intraday low at 1,848.13. While it went as high as 1,872.86, it ultimately closed at 1,866.52.

223 scrips traded hands via 14,186 transactions. A total of 2,085,284 shares exchanged hands amounting to only Rs. 69.17 Crores in the turnover amount. This is higher than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 55.28 Crores.

Nabil Bank Limited (NABIL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 2.4 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 794 per share. The shares of Api Power Company Ltd. (API) traded the most.

Aviyan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (AVYAN) gained the highest 10% and hit positive circuit for the day.

On the other side of things, Everest Bank Limited (EBLD86) lost the highest 9.83% today.

Only two sector indices closed red, "Mutual Fund" lost the highest 1.71% while "Finance" gained the highest 2.68%.
