NEPSE Index Gains by Minimal 0.17% to Settle at 2,766.09 ; NRIC Sees Highest Turnover Among All Scrips

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining 4.83 points (0.17%) to settle at 2,766.09. This follows a 21.30 -point gain in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2764.3 touching an intraday high of 2,775.09, while the lowest point was 2,760.73. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 4.18 Arba, with 9,243,232 shares traded across 317 companies through 45,116 transactions. The market capitalization stood at Rs. 46.22 Kharba, while the float market capitalization was recorded at Rs. 15.64 Kharba.

Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 48.95 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 1,686.20

Bikash Hydropower Company Limited (BHCL) led the gainer's list with a 9.99% gain each.

Meanwhile, Kumari Sabal Yojana (KSY) recorded the steepest drop, falling 3.66%.

Among sectors, the Others Index registered the highest gain, gaining 1.42%, while the Manufacturing And Processing saw the highest loss at 0.68%.
