NEPSE Index Gains By Minimal 0.05% to Settle at 2,585.87; Only Six Sector Close at Green

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining by 1.37 points (0.05%) to settle at 2,585.87. This follows a 3.27 point gain in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2585.6, touching an intraday high of 2,593.57, while the lowest point was 2,577.63. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 3.22 Arba, with 7,224,917 shares traded across 328 companies through 62,768 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 43.41 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 14.71 Kharba.

SY Panel Nepal Limited (SYPNL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 14.49 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 815.00.

Infinity Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ILBS) led the gainers' list by 5.32% each.

Meanwhile, Grameen Bikas Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. (GBLBS) recorded the steepest drop, falling 4.23%.

Among sectors, the Non Life Insurance registered the highest gain, gaining 0.87%, while the Development Bank Index saw the highest loss at 0.85%.
