NEPSE Index Gains 12.43 Points and Closes at 2,182.61; API Sees Highest Turnover Among All Scrips

The NEPSE index closed at 2,182.63 today after gaining 12.45 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 0.57%. The index lost 7.13 points yesterday.
Today the index opened at 2,171.17 and made an intraday low of 2,153.31. It went as high as 2,183.75 and ultimately closed at 2,182.61.
257 scrips traded hands via 35,450 transactions. A total of 5,648,212 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 2.062 Arba in turnover amount. This is lower than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 3.691 Arba.
API Power Company Ltd. (API) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 5.86 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 302 per share.
Barahi Hydropower Public Limited (BHPL) gained the highest 10% and hit positive circuit for the day.
Conversely, Nabil Balanced Fund-3 (NBF3) lost the highest 5.75% today.
Only one sector closed red, "Mutual Fund" lost 0.20% while "Development Bank" gained the highest 1.46% today.
