NEPSE Index Further Sheds Huge 41.01 Points Closing at 2,127.52 Levels; Intraday Turnover Stood at Rs 3.302 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 2,127.52 today after losing 41.01 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 1.89%. The index lost 14.68 points yesterday.
Today the index opened at 2,166.31 and made an intraday high of 2,174.66. It went as low as 2,124.83 and ultimately closed at 2,127.52.
256 scrips traded hands via 57,126 transactions. A total of 8,836,488 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 3.302 Arba in turnover amount. This is higher than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 3.017 Arba.
SuryaJyoti Life Insurance Company Limited (SJLIC) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 17.65 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 519.80 per share.
Lumbini General Insurance Co. Ltd. (LGIL) and Adarsha Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ADLB) gained the highest 10% each and hit the positive circuit.
On the other side of things, United IDI Mardi RB Hydropower Limited. (UMRH) lost the highest 7.14% today.
All sector indices closed red, "Hotel and Tourism" lost the highest 3.61% while "Life Insurance" lost the least 1.10% today.
