NEPSE Index Falls by Minimal 0.04% While Volume Stood at Rs. 3.79 Arba; Seven Indices Close Green

The NEPSE index closed at 2,076.96 today after losing 0.80 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.04%. The index gained 28.38 points yesterday.

Today the index opened at 2,081.75 and went intraday high of 2,102.09. In contrast, it went as low as 2,067.85 and ultimately closed at 2,076.96.

293 scrips traded hands via 65,317 transactions. A total of 11,182,335 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 3.79 Arba in turnover amount. This is higher than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 3.04 Crores.

Soaltee Hotel Limited (SHL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 33.12 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 496.10 per share. The shares of PCBLP traded the most.

Rawa Energy Development Limited (RAWA) gained the highest 9.98% and technically hit the positive circuit for the day.

Conversely, Himalayan Hydropower Limited (HHL) lost the highest 6.34% today.

Seven sector indices closed green, "Finance" gained the highest 2.71% while "Hotel and Tourism" lost the highest 1.72 points today.
