NEPSE Index Falls By 10.29 Points to Close at 2,610.63; Only Three Sector Close at Green

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today, losing by 10.29 points (0.39%) to settle at 2,610.63. This follows a 12.83 point loss in the previous session.
The benchmark index opened at 2616.87, touching an intraday high of 2,618.62, while the lowest point was 2,604.42. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 5.01 Arba, with 10,274,126 shares traded across 323 companies through 79,702 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 43.83 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 14.87 Kharba.

SY Panel Nepal Limited (SYPNL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 30.65 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 1,121.00.

Wean Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (WNLB) and Shreenagar Agritech Industries Limited (SAIL) led the gainers' list by 10.00% each.

Meanwhile, Nyadi Hydropower Limited (NYADI) recorded the steepest drop, falling 4.32%.

Among sectors, the Manufacturing And Processing registered the highest gain, gaining 1.04%, while the Others Index saw the highest loss at 1.69%.
