NEPSE Index Edges Up By 4.79 Points; SOHL Tops the Turnover

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a moderate gain today, gaining by 4.79 points (0.18%) to close at 2,667.97. This follows a loss of 21.15 points in the previous trading session.
The benchmark index opened at 2666.96 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,673.12 and a low of 2,652.91 before settling at the close. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 4.40 Arba, with 10,067,732 shares traded across 350 companies through 61,286 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 45.85 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.48 Kharba.
Solu Hydropower Limited (SOHL) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 58.10 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 672.70.
