Nepse Index dwindled by 29.54 points with minimal turnover of Rs 75.53 crore; 3 BFIs hit circuit break

On the first trading day of the week, the benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) dropped by 29.54 points or 1.85% to close at 1570.95 points.
Today, NEPSE index opened at 1600.49 points, the local bourse went up to 1600.63 points in the first trading hour of the day and was seen in the downward trend.
111,580 units shares of Citizens Bank International Promoter Shares (CZBILP) and 104,794 unit shares of Mega Bank Limited (MEGA) were traded most today.
Hamro Bikas Bank Limited (HAMRO), Arun Finance Limited (ARUN) and Jebils Finance Limited (JEFL) hit circuit break today.
The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 75.53 crore where more than 7.98 lakh units shares were traded through 5,079 transactions.
Except Hotels and Manufacturing & Production, all trading groups landed in red. Sub-indices of Hydropower and Insurance group dipped by 44.38 points and 246.95 points respectively.
