NEPSE Index Drops by 143.16 Points Over Three Trading Days; Overall Volume Decline to 13.07 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today, losing 63.73 points (2.18%) to settle at 2,858.90. This follows a 31.50-point loss in the previous session.
The benchmark index opened at 2,923.87, touching an intraday high of 2,923.88, while the lowest point was 2,858.90. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 13.07 Arba, with 32,260,341 shares traded across 319 companies through 152,518 transactions. The market capitalization stood at Rs. 47.72 Kharba, while the float market capitalization was recorded at Rs. 16.20 Kharba.
Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 75.39 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 1,515.00
Trade Tower Limited (TTL) and Shiva Shree Hydropower Ltd (SSHL) led the gainer's list with a 9.99% gain each.
Meanwhile, Sanvi Energy Limited (SANVI) recorded the steepest drop, falling 9.99%.
Among sectors, the Others Index registered the highest loss, losing 3.48%, while the Mutual Fund saw the least loss at 1.00%.
