Nepse Index Dips By 5.17 Points To Close at 2,566.16 level ; UNHPL Leads Turnover While Overall Volume Stood at 5.45 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today, losing 5.17 points (0.20% ) to settle at 2,566.16. This follows a 62.29 -point gain in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2570.59, touching an intraday high of 2,602.98, while the lowest point was 2,557.74. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 5.45 Arba, with 11,501,284 shares traded across 321 companies through 50,487 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 42.89 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 14.55 Kharba.

Union Hydropower Limited (UNHPL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 23.65 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 518.50.

Khanikhola Hydropower Co. Ltd. (KKHC) led the gainer's list with 10.00%.

Meanwhile, Jyoti Bikash Bank Bond 2087 (JBBD87) recorded the steepest drop, falling 5.66%.

Among sectors, Hotels And Tourism Index registered the highest gain, gaining 2.15%, while the Others Index saw the highest loss at 1.20%.
