NEPSE Index Dips By 30.02 Points To Settle at 2,566.09 ; Overall Volume Stood at 4.9 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today, losing 30.02 points (1.15% ) to settle at 2,566.09. This follows a 11.29 point loss in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2598.4, touching an intraday high of 2,599.27, while the lowest point was 2,560.92. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 4.9 Arba, with 10,619,180 shares traded across 323 companies through 47,268 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 42.95 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 14.56 Kharba.

Union Hydropower Limited (UNHPL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 27.76 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 525.00.

Daramkhola Hydro Energy Limited (DHEL) led the gainer's list with 9.99% each

Meanwhile, Unnati Sahakarya Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (USLB) recorded the steepest drop, falling 10.00%.

Among sectors, Finance Index registered the highest loss, losing 2.91%, while the Others Index saw the highest loss at 0.12%.
