NEPSE Index Dips by 1.94 Points to Close at 2832.06; NGPL Tops the Turnover

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today, losing 1.94 points (0.06%) to settle at 2,832.06. This follows a 41.35-point loss in the previous session.
The benchmark index opened at 2840.03, touching an intraday high of 2,856.63, while the lowest point was 2,826.86. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 7.63 Arba, with 21,657,706 shares traded across 320 companies through 93,185 transactions. The market capitalization stood at Rs. 47.27 Kharba, while the float market capitalization was recorded at Rs. 16.06 Kharba.
Ngadi Group Power Ltd. (NGPL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 29.45 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 415.30
Wean Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (WNLB) led the gainer's list with a 10.00% gain each.
Meanwhile, Three Star Hydropower Limited (TSHL) recorded the steepest drop, falling 3.78%.
Among sectors, the Microfinance Index registered the highest gain, gaining 1.41%, while the Trading Index saw the highest loss at 0.66%.
