NEPSE Index Creates All-Time High Again! Total Turnover Surpasses Record Broken Just Yesterday

The NEPSE index gained 37.48 points today and closed at 2,561.47. This is the highest index closing in the history of NEPSE. The index opened at 2,553.78 and made an intraday high at 2,563.29. While the index went as low as 2,538.83, it ultimately closed at 2,561.47, the highest closing ever in the history of NEPSE.

20,011,555 shares traded hands via 92,079 transactions. The trading of 206 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 10.61 Arba. This is the highest intraday turnover in the history of NEPSE, tailed only by yesterday's record-breaking figure of Rs. 10.44 Arba. While the float index gained 3.36 points and closed at 174.50, the Sensitive index is at 466.60 after gaining 7.28 points.

Prabhu Bank Limited (PRVU) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 58.04 crores. Its shares also traded the most today.

Grameen Bikas Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (GBLBS) has hit the 10% positive circuit today.

Meanwhile, Himalaya Urja Bikas Company Limited (HURJA) lost the most 6.78%.

Five sectors lost and seven others closed green today. Manufacturing and Products lost the most 1.21% while Banking gained the most 3.65%, followed by Development Banks that gained 3.47%.
