NEPSE Index Couldn't Sustain Yesterday's Gain; Falls Harsh 31.52 Points Today While Turnover Stood at Rs. 1.55 Arba

In today's trading session, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index closed at 2,013.93 points, as the index lost by 31.52 points or 1.54% compared to the previous day's closing. On the last trading day, the index experienced a gain of 29.47 points.
The session kicked off with the index opening at 2,045.86 and made an intraday high of 2,052.20. However, the market reached an intraday low of 2,009.09, before finally settling at the closing value of 2,013.93.
During today's trading, a total of 275 scrips were exchanged through 40,800 transactions, with a substantial volume of shares traded amounting to 4,657,137, representing a turnover of Rs. 1.55 Arba. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 30.14 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 10.60 Kharba.
Soaltee Hotel Limited (SHL) recorded the highest turnover of Rs. 7.87 crores and closed at a market price of Rs. 455.10.
Similarly, the newly listed stock Kutheli Bukhari Small Hydropower Limited (KBSH) gained the highest 9.99%, technically hitting the upper circuit for the day.
Meanwhile, Molung Hydropower Company Limited (MHCL) lost the highest 8.54% today.
In terms of sector indices, all sector indices closed red. The Finance Index lost the most for the day with a 2.92% positive change.
