NEPSE Index Closes With a Loss of 19.92 Points to Settle at 2,595.10; Only One Sector Closes At Green

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today, declining by 19.92 points (0.76%) to settle at 2,595.10. This follows a 10.66 point loss in the previous session.
The benchmark index opened at 2614.64, touching an intraday high of 2,616.25, while the lowest point was 2,588.73. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 4.52 Arba, with 11,299,334 shares traded across 345 companies through 70,576 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 43.57 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 14.75 Kharba.

Swastik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SWASTIK) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 13.05crores. The stock closed at Rs. 2,900.00.

SY Panel Nepal Limited (SYPNL) led the gainers' list by 9.99% each.

Meanwhile, Sindhu Bikash Bank Ltd (SINDU) recorded the steepest drop, falling 10.00%.

Among sectors, the Mutual Fund registered the highest gain, gaining 0.19%, while the Hotels And Tourism Index saw the highest loss at 1.63%.
