NEPSE index closes today at 1,105.53 climbing 2.97 points; Turnover stands at 21.9 crore

The market today closed in green gaining only 2.97 points throughout the day. The index had opened today at 1,102.88 points and climbed a full 9 points till the mid-day and fell afterwards.
The total market turnover for today stands at Rs 21.99 crore with a total of 8.09 lakh shares traded via 3,926 transactions.
Nepal Bank (NBL) saw the highest turnover for today with shares worth Rs 1.65 crore traded. Similarly, NBL also stood ahead in term of number of shares traded with a total of 57.8 thousand shares traded throughout the day.
The top gainer for today is Bhargav Bikas Bank (BHBL) gaining 8.73%. It closed at Rs 137 per shares. On the other hand, The top loser for today is Manjushree Finance (MFIL). MFIL's price dived 3.47% today closing at Rs 111.
The sub indices of 6 sectors closed in green and the rest 4 in red. The highest gaining sector for today is Life Insurance climbing by 20.52 points. Similarly, the Manufacturing and processing sector lost the most declining by 6.74 points.
