NEPSE Index Closes at 1,853.76 Points After Gaining Double Digits Today; Only "Life Insurance" Closed Red

The NEPSE index closed at 1,853.76 today after gaining 16.29 points from last trading day. This is a gain of 0.89%. The index had gained 6.41 points yesterday.

The index opened at 1,836.84 and made intraday low at 1,835.95. Then the index made intraday high at 1,835.95 and ultimately closed at 1,853.76.

223 scrips traded hands via 14,298 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 1,791,480 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 63.24 Crores in the turnover amount. This is higher than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 48.54 Crores.

Nepal Insurance Co. Ltd Promoter Share (NICLPO) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 4.75 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 1,152 per share.

Aviyan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (AVYAN) gained the highest 9.98% and almost hit the positive circuit for the day.

On the other side of things, Samling Power Company Limited (SPC) lost the highest 7.94% today.

Only one sector closed red, "Life Insurance" lost 0.06% while "Microfinance" gained the highest 1.65%.
