NEPSE Index Climbs By 14 Points to Close at 2590.29; Development Bank Index Sees Highest Among Other Indices

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining by 14.00 points (0.54%) to settle at 2,590.29.This comes after a gain of 6.11 points in the previous trading session.


The benchmark index opened at 2577.24 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,601.99 and a low of 2,576.61 before settling at the close. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 4.17 Arba, with 8,473,016 shares traded across 362 companies through 38,836 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.50 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.03 Kharba.


10% Himalayan Bank Debenture 2083 (HBLD83) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 44.10 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 1,050.10 .


Corporate Development Bank Limited (CORBL) Led the gainer's list with 12.90% each. The stock closed at Rs. 1,750.00 .


Meanwhile, Upakar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ULBSL) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 7.32%, the last traded price of the company was Rs. 2,873.00.

 

Among sectors, Development Bank Index registered the highest gain, gaining by 1.37%, while Investment Index recorded highest loss, losing by 0.46%.
