NEPSE Index Bounces Back From Support; 15 Companies Gain the Highest They Could

The NEPSE index has bounced back from the support zone with a surge in market participation. The NEPSE index gained 74.71 points today and closed at 2,899.82. The index opened at 2,845.43 and did not trade at anywhere lower than that. It then closed at the intraday high of 2,899.82.

31,588,850 shares traded hands via 82,049 transactions. The trading of 225 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 8.061 Arba. This is a reversal of the declining trend in market activity in the last few sessions.

The float index is at 201.17 after gaining 5.74 points and the Sensitive index is at 543.43 after gaining 13.77 points.

NIC Asia Bank Limited (NICA) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 39.96 crores.

15 companies have technically closed at the upper limit of 10% intraday gain today. Meanwhile, Rastriya Beema Company Limited Promoter Share (RBCLPO) lost the most 4.37%.

All sectors gained today, with the Finance sector gaining a significant 8.37%, trailed closely by Development Bank that gained 8.29%.
