NEPSE Increases in Double Digits With Volume of Rs 1.443 Arba; Three Scrips Hit Positive For The Day

The NEPSE index closed at 1,918.10 today after gaining 12.10 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 0.63%. The index gained 17.70 points yesterday.
Today the index opened at 1,910.35 and went intraday high of 1,906.40. In contrast, it went as low as 1,936.48 and ultimately closed at 1,918.10.
258 scrips traded hands via 35,926 transactions. A total of 4,077,778 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.443 Arba in turnover amount. This is higher than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.38 Arba.
IME General Insurance Ltd. (IGI) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 6.15 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 395 per share.
Supermai Hydropower Limited (SMH) gained the highest 10% followed by AHL and SHLB with 9.99%.
Conversely, Terhathum Power Company Limited (TPC) has lost the highest 3.17% today.
Three sector indices closed red, "Microfinance" gained the highest 3.48% while "Non-Life Insurance" lost the least 0.12% today.
